⚠ WARNING
Do not loosen the radiator draincock with the system hot and under pressure. Serious burns from coolant can occur.△ CAUTION
Note the location of all radiator air seals (top, bottom, sides). They must be reinstalled to their original positions to prevent overheating.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Drain coolant from the radiator.
- KK vehicles: remove the coolant recovery / washer-fluid reservoir.
- Remove the front grille.
- Remove the viscous cooling fan (if equipped).
- Remove the two radiator mounting bolts.
- Disconnect the cooling-fan connector and the upper & lower hoses.
