  1. Install pulley and pulley bolt to tensioner. Tighten bolt to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) torque.

IDLER PULLEY-REMOVAL-2.8L DIESEL📷 1
CAUTION: The retaining bolts on the idler pulleys are left hand thread.
1. Disconnect negative battery cable. 2. Remove accessory drive belt. See BELT-ACCESSORY DRIVE. 3. Remove idler pulley retaining bolts and pulley.

1. Remove accessory drive belt. See BELT-ACCESSORY DRIVE. 2. Remove cover. 3. Remove bolt and pulley (1).

1. Install idler pulley and retaining bolt. Tighten bolts to 53 N.m (39 ft. lbs.) 2. Install accessory drive belt. See INSTALLATION. 3. Connect negative battery cable.

  1.   Position idler pulley (1).
  2.   Tighten bolt to (3) 28 N.m (250 in. lbs.).
  3.   Install cover.
  4.   Install accessory drive belt. See INSTALLATION.
