Procedures
Evap Purge Solenoid - Removal


- Lift the solenoid assembly (1) from the tongue-type bracket (2).
- Disconnect electrical connector (5).
- Disconnect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) from solenoid.
Evap Purge Solenoid - Installation

- Connect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) to solenoid.
- Connect electrical connector (5).
- Push solenoid assembly (1) onto the tongue-type bracket (2).
- The vapor/vacuum lines and hoses must be firmly connected. Also check the vapor/vacuum lines at the ESIM switch and filter for damage or leaks. If a leak is present, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set.

DUTY CYCLE EVAP CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID
The EVAP canister purge solenoid (1) is located near the battery (2).
Connector
1. Lift the solenoid assembly (1) from the tongue-type bracket (2). 2. Disconnect electrical connector (5). 3. Disconnect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) from solenoid.

Connector
1. Connect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) to solenoid. 2. Connect electrical connector (5). 3. Push solenoid assembly (1) onto the tongue-type bracket (2). 4. The vapor/vacuum lines and hoses must be firmly connected. Also check the vapor/vacuum lines at
the ESIM switch and filter for damage or leaks. If a leak is present, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set.
