  1. Lift the solenoid assembly (1) from the tongue-type bracket (2).
  2. Disconnect electrical connector (5).
  3. Disconnect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) from solenoid.

  1. Connect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) to solenoid.
  2. Connect electrical connector (5).
  3. Push solenoid assembly (1) onto the tongue-type bracket (2).
  4. The vapor/vacuum lines and hoses must be firmly connected. Also check the vapor/vacuum lines at the ESIM switch and filter for damage or leaks. If a leak is present, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set.

The EVAP canister purge solenoid (1) is located near the battery (2).
Connector
1. Lift the solenoid assembly (1) from the tongue-type bracket (2). 2. Disconnect electrical connector (5). 3. Disconnect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) from solenoid.

  1.   Connect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) to solenoid.
  2.   Connect electrical connector (5).
  3.   Push solenoid assembly (1) onto the tongue-type bracket (2).
  4.   The vapor/vacuum lines and hoses must be firmly connected. Also check the vapor/vacuum lines at
the ESIM switch and filter for damage or leaks. If a leak is present, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set.
