  1. Install the fuel filler tube (1), ESIM fresh air filter and hose (2) into the rubber grommet (3) at the fuel filler housing (4) as an assembly.
  2. Connect the fresh air hose (1) at the ESIM (2).
  3. Connect the On-Board Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) vacuum line quick-connect fitting (1) at the fuel filler tube.
  4. Install the fuel filler tube hose (3) onto the fuel tank.
  5. Position the fuel filler tube hose clamp (2) at the fuel tank and tighten to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.).
  6. Position the fuel filler tube support bracket (2), install the retaining bolt (4) and tighten to 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.).
  7. Position the fuel tank vapor line (3) and install the retainer (1) onto the fuel filler tube support bracket.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Install the fuel filler cap.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable.
  11. Start the engine and check for leaks.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the filler cap.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4. Disconnect the fuel tank vapor line retainer (1) at the fuel filler tube support bracket (2) and position vapor line (3) aside.
  5. Remove the fuel filler tube support bracket retaining bolt (4).
  6. Disconnect the fresh air hose (1) at the Evaporative System Integrity Monitor (ESIM) (2).
  7. Disconnect the On-Board Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) vacuum line quick-connect fitting (1) at the fuel filler tube.
  8. Loosen the fuel filler tube hose clamp (2) at the fuel tank.
  9. Remove the fuel filler tube hose (3) at the fuel tank.
  10. Remove the fuel filler tube (1), ESIM fresh air filter and hose (2) from the rubber grommet (3) at the fuel filler housing (4) as an assembly and remove the filler tube from the vehicle.
