J-Scan OBD guide (Liberty KK 3.7L)

The J-Scan guide is the full generated app (DTC browser, how-to procedures, module glossary, and Live Data). It’s a self-contained static site served under /guide/.

Two ways to include it

1. Fast: drop the already-built HTML output into /public/guide/ — done.
2. Reproducible: put the Python builder in guide-builder/ and generate into public/guide/ as a pre-build step. See RETRIEVAL-GUIDE.md.

What’s inside

• Start here — adapter choice (BLE for iPhone, avoid clone ELM327s), first connection, and free-vs-paid licensing (~$20/VIN; reading codes is free, writing needs a license).
• Using J-Scan — dashboard, modules, live data, and how adaptations work with the Trace & Restore safety net.

Doesn’t apply to the 3.7

The guide flags procedures that don’t apply to this truck — NAG1 (you have the 42RLE), adaptive-cruise calibration (not equipped), and DPF regen (gas engine).
